finally getting to the actual plot of this story instead of just skirting around and having cliff hangers. sometimes it seems like the author didn’t know what she wanted the plot to be until she was already writing the book

first of all, there’s been like 3 instances in this where a character describes another character by just saying they’re really attractive…not sure how that’s helpful in a mystery but ok
second of all, chris is a pushover and needs to grow up and zara needs to back off
