I’ve enjoyed this dinner party scene so much that I’ve gone back to read it again

I’m giddy with Emma having so many slow burning, flirty male acquaintances;
Pierce, Islington, Hawkes, Jack, Roland

The voice acting in this audiobook is stellar. I especially love the voicing for the laughably horrendous, Cousin Archibald, as he’s vexing everyone in their household with his vocal lashings about how he’ll be missing out on the much anticipated Shakespearean production.

It seems so whimsical that this home is one she’s known since childhood, yet there are still opportunities for surprise and renovation within its many rooms
