Restarting, annotating, and taking my time with this. Steinbeck's prose is so lush and rich and gorgeous. Every sentence is so artfully done, I'm really excited to spend my time in this novel

I'm into it. It's long-winded and very descriptive, but I already know these characters better than many others I've read about this year 😁

I'm trying to not overhype this book, but I've been waiting for the right time to pick it up and I'm really excited to dive into this ☺️
