I find it pretty unimaginative (so far); nothing is really pulling me into the book: the characters, the writing, the setting, the plot, it's all somewhat underwhelming. Mostly I am just bored, and it makes me want to read something else. I just wish it had more personality, identity, something interesting going on. To me, it feels like a V.E. Schwab book with worse prose. Another 2-3 star book. I hope it picks up in the second half. Are you enjoying it 😅?

Uhh yeah it feels boring to me too. I can’t het past the writing style, it is too much I did this, then I saw that, now I want this. Also, I guessed the plot “twist” within the first 20 pages (that never happens to me lol I have 3 brain cells when it comes to reading) so that also says something… i also hope it starts picking up the pace soon
