Okay cool, I love the premise. But do they have to act so immature? I'm kinda put off by how they're acting. Give me a reason to like these characters, please, before I give up.

the dynamic eventually evens out a bit but i could have deffo done with some more justification… especially the classist punching down. i’m enjoying other things but not a fan of the “thief” nickname either, but that’s later into the story

I just can't get into it - I'm stuck at 25% and have no motivation to go on. I know what the author can do, so I'll try to push through.
I just can't stand adult books where 30-year olds act like 5 year olds.
