I don't ever want to finish this book oh my god I'm getting all the feels. It's so damn romantic and so far the best slow burn I've read in years.

Oh my god these characters are just.. lovely. My heart. My heart loves this.

A goodie I love a gold rush story, hope I'm not disappointed

So many things that bother me about this, least of all how unoriginal and full of stereotypes it is. Yet, I can't stop reading - kinda want to know what happens.

I dont know why I torture myself - I've always hated the ice queen trope. Like, why would anyone be so mean in the first place? how can that be attractive at all in a main character IN A ROMANCE NOVEL?

its such a turn off for me. Also - please, I've read this a million times, the spilling of the coffee, the "I'll pay for your dry cleaning" and the "I think you've done enough" response. Ugh.

already loving this. Another time, another culture, and yet the same feelings of knowing you're not like everyone else. Her tearing up pages of magazines featuring women together and hiding them in books, was my sneaking on the family computer in the 2000s hiding pictures of t.A.T.u in a private folder.

okay Im obsessed. I literally just read the most romantic first kiss scene of the last 15 years of reading lesbian romance.

omg I'm bored.

I've read so much Brayden that I can't help thinking about the flaws I find in every one of her stories as I read. The thing that annoys me most is how vanilla all her characters are, but also, how similar in personality they all sound. The never-ending banter also is hard for me to not roll my eyes at: people don't actually speak like that in real life, all the time.

A little confused by the pace of the story. It keeps slowing down and then rushing and then slowing down again. I'm never fully satisfied, either I feel bored and find myself skipping paragraphs (which very rarely happens), or I find myself wondering how the story got to where it is

Sweet, cute - but a little too easy. Not really hooked, missing some angst. Is it coming?

Struggling a little to get into this one - but I see the potential. I feel I'm missing important parts of the story though given they've known each other most of their lives and everything that has happened in the past is just implied instead of narrated. I love a good flashback... hope there are some later

I'm officially half way through and I still feel nothing. I find Elena really really unlikable, it doesn't matter what you've been through, when you're that cruel, it's just not attractive to me. Just not feeling it at all

I never see the appeal of the ice queen premise. Who finds mean attractive? even if it's just a ton of baggage making someone rude, I don't get it?

So far a little bored I must stay. Also the premise is just a little too similar to The Goodmans (which I love). Story is slow, characters not super likeable, not feeling the friendship that much (would need more flashbacks and more in-depth scenes of intimacy). Plus, a girl who doesn't realise she's in love with another girl for 15 years is not super super attractive

I'm more than half way through and.. a little bored. It's honestly not a very romantic story so far
