Hmmmm. I don't hate this, by any means. But I am really struggling with how stressed these characters are about keeping their fandom lives secret. Marcus I kinda get because his entire fandom life revolves around hating the show he's the star of. But April's stress feels inauthentic to me. A contract geologist? Why would your fandom life ever come up at work? Why would anyone care?

Not hooked yet. Not really pulled out of it yet, either. The way she talks about fic/fandom feels a little off for me, though I can't place why. Still, willing to see how the MCs interact and see if that hooks me.
