this is starting to sound a lot like propaganda to me

one of my biggest annoyances in writing is when it’s so obvious the author put together a consecutive amount of events to get the character to where they want the plot to go… i was told you’re only allowed to have one coincidence in a story and i have the urge to mark up all over the beginning just how many comments and thoughts are very convenient for the plot… maybe i’m being too knit-picky
