Oh my bloody hell, the big reveal is going to take three whole chapters. Why would any writer do that to their reader?

A bit miffed here. I’ve enjoyed this book with all of its cute tropes and copy-cat tactics. I’ve grown to like the Inspector’s team, even though the Inspector himself was a bit too mocking for my taste. The chapter I just completed, however, is bitterly disappointing. 😠

Add a bootlegger and shake. Never stir.

Another trope added. The victim points at their murderer. But precisely at who in the motley group? They are all so horrible! 😂

The side-line case is a cute addition. Can’t help wondering how it belongs but that itch is there.

You can almost see it being acted out on screen.
