Ah, finally… I’ve reached The Odyssey itself. I MIGHT start a bit tonight, but not planning on really getting into it until Monday.

I admittedly scanned a fair chunk of the introduction. But not enough to miss Wilson’s intentions and immense knowledge about the history of The Odyssey and its style thematic heft, reputation and language. There’s A LOT in here that’ll deepen your understanding and respect for this poem and its history.

Oh, shit… an 81 page introduction?!? Yikes… fingers crossed I’ll be able to get through this before Nolan’s movie comes out. (Joking. Maybe.)
