Rarely have I read a single book, let alone trilogy, whose imagination reached for the stars, then…kept going. Breathtaking in its scope, ideas, and expanding palette of characters and narrative threads, while somehow resolving most of them in the end.

I felt the best kind of loss: the delicious experience of inhabiting a singular story for the first time, and knowing there will never be a first time again.
