Jason's uniform being soaked in blood from his dead body omg :( just imagine if any of the teachers or his classmates found out after he left school he straight up died so dam tragically. Piper still being able to be conscious after getting a concussion & 3 head injuries + exhausted after charm speaking & singing & horribly injured, & then going over Jason & crying & raging over his body is just so heartbreaking

it's just like the aftermath after his death is the postcredits of a movie. Apollo has Caligulas shoes to walk the labyrinth with, but he can't go in because he and Meg are so badly injured. He just has the shoes and he's taking them back to Grover because he doesn't even want to try anything at the moment, and he's trying to convince himself it was all just a bad dread and Jason grace definitely didn't die

No I mean it's fine Rick you only killed my favorite character in the whole riordanverse. I might as well sue you. I couldn't even cry while reading Jason's death. It was HORRIBLE. How does he write scenes like this??? Caligula is just so insane I can't even wrap my mind around what he did to Jason. He stabbed Jason with his spear, and once he was on the floor (dead already), he yanked it out and stabbed him AGAIN
