Daniel is my favourite male character in a long while. Probably because he’s been there since book one, and in a way I watched him grow. What a complex man, a thoroughly well-developed character!

Daniel put Violet on a pedestal that’s way too high for her. I really don’t see what she sees in her and think he could do so much better. I’m struggling to get through the book because of how much I don’t like Violet and her story!

Mixed feelings about this book. I LOVE Danny, and his relationship with Violet makes perfect sense, but there are some things in the book that feel off to me... Currently this feels like 3.5 stars.
