i am unreasonably disappointed that there is a single big bad we have to deal with almost 90% of the way into this book. what the helllllllll it was going so good

you know at the end of the day i don't think i like this book. i know i'm not done yet but i don't think i like it. it's not bad but it's not good either

oh there's some of the archive undying in here. but worse

okay i'm not 100% sure where we're going from here, everything is pretty well gone to shit

val you are so stupid. i don't even know if i can blame this on being maybe a teenager

good lord this book takes forever to get through

okay i'm gonna try really hard to finish this but val's narration is starting to grate on me

well that's not great
