This is giving Alan Wake vibes!! I love Alan Wake. I don't think this is quite a five star, we still have half the book to go so it really depends on how it sticks the landing but so far I LOVE the vibes!

Reviews said it picked up at 60% but I kind of liked the first half better so far? The reveal/twist doesn't really feel like one, like I was expecting it? This is why I don't do a lot of thrillers, I get annoyed and bored lol I do like the paranormal aspect though. Like there are a LOT of homages to The Shining. At first I was like "is this an unofficial sequel" but then they reference Stephen King. Confused.
