Gertrude and Henrik are dead. It bugs me that so far, the only death we've gotten from the perspective of the person dying while they are lucid and uninfected has been Henrik, the only man in the book. I'd have liked to watch one of the female characters get ripped apart from her own perspective, but now the only prospect for that is Ursula. And knowing Sodergren, she'll probably last until the very last page.

Much quicker start than Maggie's Grave or The Forgotten Island.
