Nice historical novel follows George Washington and a humble New Jersey militiaman through the build up to and battle for Trenton, a major turning point in the American Revolution. Great book for adults and upper middle grade and YA readers really summarizes the challenges of the war and makes it understandable and personal. Great book to read this summer especially, when America is celebrating its 250th birthday.
