Ok I get it Claudia is Reiko years in the future but why didn’t we have at least one quick chapter to show how she got there? Last we saw her she was about to get caught for her scam, it seems too easy to put her in a complicated spot and then just jump years into the future and not show how she got herself out of that… I’m a bit disappointed because I’ve been really liking the story so far

Last quarter of the book seems a bit late to introduce a whole new main character, I was so invested in Beatrice and Reiko’s stories

Decided to read the first two chapters while waiting for the bus at a very crowded bus stop… bad idea lmao, I hope no one was reading over my shoulder and questioning my sanity
