If I see the word carrion again I’m throwing myself off a cliff. On the other hand, I ADORE how SJM remembers that all of her characters don’t all know the same stuff and leaves a lot of them in the dark about certain topics until a more important time. I love the secrets. In addition to that, I love how people have “nicknames” for each other and as perspectives change, the names they’re called are changed.

This book is a little boring (so far) ngl. Hopefully part two is better 💖
