Despite the very heated dubcon petting session early in the book, this is turning into a delicious slow burn enemies to fated mates !
Also, Bride by Ali Hazelwood is basically an homage to this book, the similarities are stunning (without being plagiarizing though), it's Bride but darker on the consent front (I don't mind it one bit😅)
I also find myself very invested in the lore and the background action
