So far, I’m a lot less invested in the characters compared to the first two novels. Leto is less inspiring than Paul, but this preacher character is so interesting. A return to the “old ways” and ending this zealous vision of Muad’ib is so cool, and I liked the foreshadowing of Leto’s meeting with the preacher. Alia being a villain makes sense.
