I have never read Gaskell, but think I should. I’ll be interested in your thoughts.

I’ll be interested in your thoughts."Thanks Lillian -- she's one of the best Victorian authors in my opinion, and Sylvia's Lovers is well-written but it's been very hard to get into. I recommend Wives and Daughters as Gaskell's very best work!
