This is the most engaging, refreshing read. I am throughly loving this book. The men of the Fitz are colorful and astounding and I would love to meet them all.

This book is my top read of 2026 so far. I love the author's conversational writing as well as the documentary feel to this book. I appreciate the authors's careful and respectful reveal of the facts about people behind the famous ship: the captains, ship builders, steelworkers, welders, crewmen, the ship itself, the weather, and Gitchi-gami. Spellbinding work!
