fucking loveddddddd this book as a tween and was so excited to find it for $1 at a book sale last weekend. i was double excited to see that in 2023 the author revised it and republished a newer version that tells the story a little differently and has more of her current voice as a writer. it felt auspicious for me to have read it at its inception and again during its rebirth. really enjoying it.
