Mische didn’t fully complete the resurrection spell she performed to get Asar back so it connects her with him & gives her a chance to resurrect herself too
If they can finish the spell & collect the 3 cores of Alarus’ power, Asar can ascend to divinity and save Mische & the Underworld
Asar choses this path over becoming the Shadowborne king/Mische’s death & Acaeja puts him on a path to find Mische

Mische wakes up to Vincent The Underworld is falling apart Asar is imprisoned by the gods who are unsure of what he is They try to resurrect the sun but can’t Asar has beef w Shiket the goddess of justice who killed Mische Asar escapes his cell&is tricked to Acaeja’s secret room w demigods She offers him a way to get back to Mische&save her but he has to become a god&find 3 of Alarus core pwr relics
