Our FMC is named Mae Darling. The FMC from the book I finished earlier today was called Mia Darling. Reminds me of the name Lark that appeared in two books I read back to back.

The premise is good but I can’t get past the solo narrator, she is perfect at the female voices but just misses the mark with the male voices and it’s making it hard for me to fully immerse myself in this story. I won’t DNF but rather I’d save it for one of those random background listens. I’m basically in no rush to finish this.
