OMG things get really awkward when Kuang, by using Peter as her mouthpiece, down right tells you he found Alice to be special, a brilliant thinker, a challenge and he has kept watching her in utter fascination and wonder.

We are at the 3/4 of the novel and the story is supposed to build up to a clamix, but no we are spending a chapter learning about Peter's upbringing. Oh, joy!

And I also learned that he demanded to get homeschooling because playing with other children and exposing to their " inferior minds" doesn't help him.
