Finallllyyyy this one's down.
Few final chapters utter my current worry and anxiety on what life would be like when my most beloved people leave. Reading this feels like a relief as well as a mistake at the same time. Also, the question Joni's mom if she ever forgave her past self for futures she didnt become is something I've been pondering.
Not a fan of Poston's writing style here. Still wanna read her other work.

Misunderstanding yet fixed. But Joni's first love peeked in between her and Sebastian. It slowly began to shift to love-triangle, with Joni being so unwavering that she cant be with Sebastian. Hhhh

Joni finally met the guy in her head when he visited her in her hometown. Turned out it's none other Sebastian Fell. Cant wait for how their dynamics will roll out. The story about her mother's situation is kinda depressing I deliberately refuse to read the parts seriously.

Okay now that Joni talks to a mysterious guy inside her head and accidentally meets her ex, things have started to get interesting. I think I can keep reading this book for the next several days.

I don't know if it's because I was reading half-asleep or anything, but I didn't enjoy any metaphorical descriptions through music or sound. It should have elevated the melancholic feeling of Joni but it's too much for me? Too sweet? Too romanticized? Luckily chapter 6 provided something I could look forward to. I hope I can have a good time with this book.

First two chapters got me hooked initially since it's giving enemy-to-lover dynamics though I will know for sure when I am into more pages. But the next chapters seemed boring to me; character background-story and setting elaboration with some references of musicians or songs.
