talk about a SLOW BURN

got to 55% last night before bed, i’m begging for ANYTHING TO HAPPEN !!!!

he’s a…. father ? well because of course he is. it’s giving watpad mafia AU but also i’m rly invested because the plot is thickening and i can’t wait to see what happens

so whats the bit of the guardian? is he supposed to be the love interest? is this a weird love triangle? either way its making me mad

here is the refreshing part of this book: our FMC Odessa isn’t a god like character. She hasn’t had some secret battle training her whole life, isn’t a master with a sword. Although in the description on good reds for the book she is compared to Violet from fourth wing or one of SJM’s characters I’m finding the opposite. Although she has the same sassy lines + deadpan humor, she’s not randomly perfect at everything

ok plot was already predictable for this first 20% BUT i’m excited to see where this goes so i’m still invested….. thinking i might end up liking this

i’m going to be kind while reading this…. i know i don’t usually like books like this but i want to so bad so im keeping an open mind
