I love this book so much already, as someone who has read the latest 3 books in the series first. Reynolds' writing is so smart and so information-packed (in exactly the right way for my brain to never feel bored.) It makes each of his books read like a mystery thriller, while excelling at being a high-brow hard-sci-fi world building masterpiece.
