im reading but all I can ask myself as I do is « what is the meaning of this ? » I don’t understand where we are going and the spicy scene thrown in was so weird of a choice. I love a fantasy book but this is so not refined and it almost look unedited…

I am reading but I feel nothing toward this. the craftsmanship is not really qualitative ngl. the timeline of the story is hazy, the plot itself is fragmented and now we have a potential romance being launched but it doesn’t work bc the whole ensemble is just so jagged

ngl I quite confused so far. I don’t particularly enjoy the storytelling bc the way it’s done isn’t helping us ease into this world and the lore is established but I do not get it
