I’m sorry, but I can’t be convinced that he actually loved her. He loved what he could gain from marrying her.

Her headed to Florida to kill George’s mom is great, I don’t know why that lady hadn’t considered it when she called.

I’m wondering if Elyse is a reliable narrator or not. Also Ramos’ attorney being fine with his client calling Elyse’s company that she’s working with is crazy.

I feel like this book started out where I wanted to root for the main characters. But then I realize they are both terrible. Ben is a cheater, no matter his reasons. If he ends up with Elyse, he will eventually do the same thing to her. And she’s a mentally ill muderer, she is trapping him in her web and when he eventually feels trapped, he’ll search for a way out and she will give it to him.

Janine telling her that she’s taking over as her manager is great, I hope this causes Elyse to spiral.

Of course he slept with her. It’s interesting that he goes on and on about how repulsed he is by her but still managed to have sex with Ana.

Not him sending an incriminating text. I know she had a meeting with him on the books…but still.

I hope that means she’s going to try and kill Charles? Is that crazy for me to say?
