Indian kids have such cute spelling mistakes and habits!
I think this author has a powerful ability to write about her experience as though she was not in it. She writes anthropologically about her own life and culture. When people are able to step out of their world and explain it from a different perspective, the result is so evocative. I am really enjoying this book.
