The final chapters of this book destroyed me all over again. The plot twist was told greatly even though I already knew it. I related a bit too much to Andrew for my liking… I also really liked the addition of Andrew’s stories at the end so we could get some context to the monsters that attacked them.

Re-reading now and knowing Andrew is an unreliable narrator makes me question everything he sees and experiences in the best way possible.

Reading this after the audiobook is so tea. I didn’t realize how much foreshadowing there was until this re-read.
