There's so much Christian allegory in here, its amazing. I can see that the lack of accountability on Victor's behalf will be an infuriating reoccurrence throughout. I'm recording my thoughts as I go but I'm so happy to be reading this over all!

My mother's gentle caresses, and my father's smile of benevolent pleasure while regarding me, are my first recollections. Robert Walton is a relatable dude. I'm so happy to be starting this read finally as it tickles all the right spots of my mind so far that modern prose just doesn't! Factory reset? I think so!
