i feel like all these extra povs are 90% unnecessary padding because he knew spensa couldn't do much at this moment and wanted to keep the action going....

i know the other day I said I liked learning about the delvers but tbh knowing their history ruins their mystery and unknowability and fear and turns them into any other monster which kinda sucks

truly kinda sloggish.....i think because i haven't read this one before + enjoyed it i have no feeling that i need to enjoy it now...and i'm not really. but i saw some reviews saying it picks up and i DO want to know what happens so we'll see....

im not very far but this is my least fav so far...why am I kind of bored . going to push it through and I need to finish by Friday .

honestly not really feeling this one...even though (because?) it's the only one i haven't read. idk. i'm not very far in though! and then when i finish it i'm free!

ok a TON happened in those novellas which I have forgotten .......

I am NOT rereading the novellas since I don't remember actually enjoying ANY of them....so we'll see how well I can get through the beginning of this
