Because I can’t shut up- I think if the book would’ve just been contemporary, I would’ve enjoyed it more. The first two chapters were crack. The fantasy side was very disappointing. Oh well, at least I supported a local bookstore and it’s a pretty book that happens to be signed. 2.5/5.

Love the cover, love the colors, overall gorg. I just don’t think I like when books mix fantasy and contemporary. Too many pop culture references. Diction was great but I don’t think the book was long enough for world building. Felt confused and I didn’t care enough to understand. Had a very cliche meaning. I think if you’re more into tarot cards you’ll like this.
