If I showed up and my sisters house was unlocked and her phone was left behind I would simply call the police.
Also how would u keep it a secret that both of ur kids hav the same rare skin disease? I guess the argument is they're so different in age that it may not have come up but that seems pretty unlikely, I guess it will be important later but that just seemed very rogue

Meet someone new and immediately lie about your sister being 'busy' are you not trying to find out where she is? You may want to try "have you seen my sister, do you know where she might be?" Are you not supposed to be a journalist????????
