I think i actually hate this book

Not to rain on anyone’s parade but if there’s absolutely one thing I need authors to stop doing, it’s mishandling how forensics work. Namely: if you’re a victim of a crime/know a victim, you DO NOT. get to have anything to do with the case. That’s how you get it thrown out in court.

Celine/Selene should ABSOLUTELY NOT be the one interrogating the suspect who allegedly broke into her apartment??

I will give Zav one thing tho! He’s been pretty up front with Celine (Selene? This is an audiobook). Most of these men be lyin’ all the time, and besides his hobby keeping her in job security, which he hasn’t told her about, he’s been really honest.
