I appreciate that while this has a murder case in it, this book weaves many aspects of the southwest into a multi-character narration story. Anne also highlights the struggles of indigenous people, especially with falling through the cracks of drug therapy. She also well depicts cult culture and the challenges of caring for elderly parents. A great all-around read!
