Well shit finally hit the fan, and it hit so hard I couldn't put the book down for like what, 200 pages? Crazy.

Fighting a whole ass empire sounds a bit pointless when your other option would be to sit back and profit off of it, but I think I'm too capitalistic for the point of this book pff

Anyway, it's starting to become painfully obvious that this book on languages and translations has been written by someone who doesn't have much to do with the field. Still fun to read through though, hope it doesn't flop too hard.

I suppose the only thing worse than being an immigrant is being a woman.

Why do I choose to read about academic trauma as soon as I catch a break from mine (law school exams)? I'm loving it so far though.
