Ada Shoup’s Reviews > Moonwalk > Status Update

I enjoyed this past chapter the most. I really loved hearing about the making of Thriller, and all the big life events. This chapter has been the most “Michael” to me. I can tell he loves talking about it.

I love hearing about Michael & Quincy’s partnership. I really can understand his headspace because I, too, am a perfectionist. I am always trying to top myself. I resonate so heavily with that side of Michael.

I have never really read about anything pertaining to The Wiz, so it was interesting to hear about. I loved the introduction to Quincy Jones, and now I’m excited to hear about their work together. I’m flying through this book.

Hearing about Michael hating being on TV is so funny. I was also shocked to read that the Billie Jean choreography for Motown 25 was choreographed THE DAY OF… this man is insane.

I am enjoying hearing about Jackson 5 days, but I am anxious to get to hear about Michael’s solo albums. I feel like I’m sitting and listening to Michael talk when he tells these stories.

I find hearing about these early days of MJ’s career so fascinating. I’m learning things about him I never knew before. I can really hear his voice speaking these words as I read.
