ive watched a playthrough of the game but havent seen the movie. i wonder if the book is based on the movie or what.
I'd be surprised if it was based on the game... it's a walking simulator after all xD
oh interesting, i looked it up and apparently the director wrote the novelization of the movie. except there's more in the book i guess
the movie is actually based on the game, though! : ) inspired by it, at least. it takes the concept of the game and gives the playable character a story, and adds anomalies that weren't in the game for the same purpose. it's honestly one of the best film adaptations of a game i've ever seen.
Now I regret not having watched the movie on my last flight... xD I'll have to check it out at some point!
yeah i figured it has to be based on the movie bcs the game has no story whatsoever.
That's why it's so crazy to me that out of all games, this was the one to get a movie adaptation xD
