So there is a Keeper who hides in a maze guarding the Deadlands When they get there they will have to fight him in exchange for passage into the Deadlands

I’m loving this. It is so much easier to picture the scenes now that they are in the mortal world again.
Something I was thinking about was how in all of the books in this universe, Acaeja has had an appearance/helping hand. I’m wondering if she is trying to stage a take over since she could have the favor of the White Pantheon and the vampires.
I’m keeping my eye on her.
