Bailey’s bullying and moralizing is gross and annoying. Not to mention she’s putting Skye down. I wouldn’t want Skye to crush herself because she wants to keep Bailey. There’s nothing about this character that makes her particularly worth it. Especially since Bailey’s own faults remain unchallenged. She’s an immature child and a whiner. Ew.

Must finish this today.

This book feels like eating empty calories. There’s no real distinction between either MC. Neither has any serious back story. The writing is shallow and empty. There are no stakes. It feels bland & empty. And it’s cringe. As the author is trying to push attraction, it feels forced and contrived. We hear their thoughts but there are no situations showing attraction. I’m not sure this is gonna get more than a 1*
