Brendan Shea I read this a while back. I think the author is local to me.

Debbie Wentworth Wilson Did you enjoy it? I don't believe I've read anything by her before.

Brendan Shea It has been a while since I read it; I don't remember it that well. An island intrigue about a crime, I think. Sorry to not have a good memory of it. I think it was OK.

Debbie Wentworth Wilson Good job remembering the island and the crime. I haven't gotten far enough to know what the crime was yet. Too often, I can remember nothing about the story after reading most of them. Getting old or reading too many at the same time, I guess. Good reading to you.

Riley Green Hi Debbie! 😊
How are you doing today? It's so nice meeting you here on GR. I'm still new here and looking forward to learning more about the community.
If you don't mind, could you recommend a few good books for me? I'd really appreciate it. Looking forward to hearing from you! 🥰📚

Debbie Wentworth Wilson Hi Riley, What kind of books do you like? I read thrillers, suspense, Westerns, fantasy, the occasional sci fi and occasionally a romance. Plus I read a variety of nonfiction. I hope you'll enjoy Goodreads. I find it helps me keep track of the books and authors that I read. I also find it a good way to learn about books that I might not otherwise know about. For a nonfiction book that I enjoyed greatly, I would suggest The Meaning of Your Life by Arthur Brooks. If you find elephants interesting, Modoc by Ralph Helfer. Elephants are such amazing animals. If you like modern Westerns, you might enjoy C. J. Box or Michael Cardwell. They use some bad language though. If you like Christian thrillers, you might enjoy my Tiger in the Shadows about espionage and the persecution of Christians in China. I hope this gets you started. Best wishes.

Riley Green Hi Debbie, it's really nice to hear from you! Thank you for taking the time to share your favorite books and recommendations. I truly appreciate it.
I enjoy reading thrillers, suspense, biographies, and inspirational books, and every now and then I'll pick up a good romance novel. Your recommendations sound wonderful, especially The Meaning of Your Life and Modoc. I'll definitely add them to my reading list.
I'm actually single, and I live here in the United States. I enjoy meeting kind, genuine people who love good conversations, and you seem like someone with a warm heart and a passion for learning. I also like staying active, traveling when I can, and discovering new books and places.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better and hearing more about your favorite authors and what inspired your love of reading. Wishing you a beautiful day, Debbie!

I also work in the public eye as a celebrity, but away from that, I enjoy simple conversations and connecting with genuine people
