Why do so many of these example sentences use the phrase nouveau riche you weird weird man

So this example sentence is just... A Lie

None of these words being used make me think a person is smart is the thing

They just make me think they're regular

Because it's words like nuance and nemesis and MINION

You can't include NAMES in your collection of "words you should know to sound smart"


I don't care if they're biblical they don't count

Also some of these are like archaic ass definitions
