Poor birdie… it wasn’t its fault.
But I’m not sure about this one. Very short sad but I didn’t understand the ending. They broke up because it was a threat from her husband?

The difference between Yonec and Lanval are so cruel. On the surface they’re similar but soon enough the cavern between the fate of women and men is shown, in the fate, their suffering and how the interaction with their lover. Am sad…
But this has a high potential of being an interesting fairytale/retelling.
