Wow, this is the hardest I've cried while reading in a while. That death was written in such excruciating detail that I had to pause and go up to my room so no one would see how strong of a reaction I had. I typically struggle with visualizing scenes in my mind, but that one was incredibly vivid and made me feel as if I were right there with them. MASSIVE TW for the death & suffering of an animal if anyone TBR'd it.
