But frantic rushing rarely gets me where I want to go. Maybe this is when I can slow down enough to notice what I’ve built, what I’ve learned, and what actually matters.

When I stop fighting where I am—all the messy, complicated parts—something opens up. I start living my actual life instead of some future version of it.
